YOUR THOUGHTS CREATE YOUR REALITY - THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

Taking the time to slow down your thoughts so that you can become aware of your internal dialogue is the most important step when it comes to making change. If our mind is full of negative or limiting thoughts and ideas, are we MORE or LESS likely to attract opportunities, experience positive relationships and actually achieve our goals?

This is where understanding the law of attraction can change everything and allow you to consciously shift what thoughts you are energising every day, in every area of your life. 

The law of attraction is thousands of years old. 

Buddha:  “What you think, you become.” 

Shakespeare: “Nothing is, unless our thinking makes it so.” 

The law of attraction states that whatever you hold in your mind (ideas, thoughts, beliefs) on a  consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.

You might have heard this before. What you focus on, you attract. Focus on negative, you attract negative. Focus on positive, you attract positive!

Knowing this, you now see there is so much power in your thoughts and just how much

What you think directly influences how you feel and how you behave. So if you think you are a failure, you will feel like a failure and because you feel like a failure you will act like a failure, which reinforces your belief that you must be a failure.

With practice you can train your brain to think differently. Thinking differently will allow you to feel differently and in turn act differently. This process alone can challenge old beliefs that are not serving you and allow you to create new beliefs that equip you to live the life you truly want.

It’s not enough to simply decide to “think more positively” It is all about energy and the more we can embody the energy of what we want the more we are going to attract what we want. 

Here are the 6 laws of attraction which you can use in daily practice to start focusing where you want your energy to go!

  1.  DESIRE

    Focus your energy and awareness on your deepest values and goals. Working towards achieving or reaching a desired outcome allows us to behave in ways that align with progress, growth and learning. Having and setting goals allows us to energise what we want…. Rather than what we don’t want. (remember, where focus goes energy flows)

  2. IMAGINATION

    There’s nothing you can do to overcome the law of attraction. So why not embrace it as fact? Using your imagination and creating the picture of what you want, what it looks and feels like, helps you to remove doubt. When you get clear on what you want and you can imagine how you would feel and what life would look like when you have it, you are again allowing your energy to focus on what you want and desire. Make a vision board or draw your outcome and see it and energise it everyday. 

  3. AFFIRMATIONS

    Reaffirming yourself, how you want to feel as if you feel it now, what you want as if you have it now… affirming that you have reached your goal already, this again allows you to focus on that higher energy which is going to attract exactly that! More of what you want. 

  4. FOCUS

    Developing focus is so important for implementing the law of attraction. I can keep reminding you here… where focus goes energy flows!

  5. UNSHAKEABLE BELIEF

    Your beliefs support every thought and choice you make, from your relationships to your career. When you truly believe something is possible, nothing will get in your way achieving it. Checking in with your beliefs and making sure they are in alignment with getting what you truly desire is essential along this journey of attracting your desires into reality. If there are unsupportive beliefs that are running in the background, we want to make sure we change the story and cultivate unbreakable supportive beliefs!

  6. GRATITUDE

    Mindset is everything. Gratitude puts you in a place of greater self-awareness. You’re able to see your circumstances more clear and connect to what you have already achieved that you otherwise hadn’t realised. Practice connecting to 3-5 things you are grateful for daily and watch your energy shift into that higher vibration!

These daily practices will help you to project your focus into the direction of what you truly want in life by generating strong, supportive, empowering thoughts, every single day!

Check in frequently on your thoughts and remember, they hold more power than you realise.
